隨著 Samsung Galaxy S23 的發佈會臨近，越來越多 Galaxy S23 的消息洩露出來。最新的消息更指，對比起上一代機型，Galaxy S23 的 CPU 性能有 36% 的提升；GPU 則提升了 48%；而提升最多的是 NPU，有 60% 的性能提升。
Samsung 將於 2 月 1 日發佈 Galaxy S23 系列，據悉三款 S23 系列機型都會採用 Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC。往年 Samsung 都是針對不同市場使用不同的手機晶片，但今年卻不會將自家的 Exynos 系列晶片混用。全球市場都會同一使用 Qualcomm 的晶片，確保所有市場的 S23 機型的性能都一致。
之所以因為全面轉用 Qualcomm 的晶片，應該是與 Samsung 自家的 Exynos 晶片在近幾年都表現不佳有關。基於最近對於 Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 的基準測試顯示，它於 Apple 的 A16 Bionic Soc 的性能差距相近，已經不是被 Apple 遠遠拋離的情況。根據爆料，對比上一代機型，使用了Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 的 S 23 的 CPU、GPU 和 NPU 性能分別提升 36%、48% 和 60%。
