Google 或正開發自家「AirTag」　傳同時使用 BLE、UWB 技術

自 Apple 推出 AirTag 後，大幅提升用家遺失物件後尋回的機會。而近日有消息指，Google 正開發與 AirTags 相似的自家追蹤裝置，與 Apple 競爭。

名為Mishaal Rahman 的 Twitter 帳戶發表推文表示，發現在 Google Fast Pair 藍牙快速配對中，出現了一個全新「Locator tag」的分類標籤，因此估計 Google 正開發自家追蹤裝置。

"Locator tag" likely refers to Bluetooth trackers (think AirTag, Tile) that in this context support Google Fast Pair.

根據外媒報導，此項追蹤器或名為「grogu」、「groguaudio」或「GR10」，靈感源自電影《星際大戰：曼達洛人》（The Mandalorian）的 Baby Yoda。該追蹤器將同時使用藍牙低能耗（BLE）和超寬頻（UWB）技術，並由 Google 的 Nest 團隊創造，並且配備一個用於發出警報的小型揚聲器，及提供多款配色，可能與 Pixel 8 一同發布。

現時，AirTag 可透過周邊的 iPhone 或 Mac 以 Find My 網絡為其定位，如果 Google 推出類似裝置，會否有與 Find My 一般的設計將成為關鍵。目前仍未有明確的消息顯示會推出的時間，但可能今年 5 月舉辦的 Google I／O 過後就能知曉。
